Asking About Events:

  • '행사가 어디에서 열리나요?' (Haengsaga eodieseo yeollinayo?) – Where is the event being held?
  • '입장료가 얼마인가요?' (Ipjangnyoga eolma-ingayo?) – How much is the admission fee?

Participating in Festivals:

  • '이 한복을 입어 봐도 될까요?' (I hanbogeul ibeo bwado doelkkayo?) – Can I try on this hanbok?
  • '사진 찍어도 되나요?' (Sajin jjigeodo doenayo?) – Can I take pictures?

At Performances:

  • '공연은 몇 시에 시작하나요?' (Gongyeoneun myeot sie sijakhanayo?) – What time does the performance start?

Scenario 1: Asking About a Festival

Staff:
남산 공원에서 열리고 있습니다. (Namsan gongwoneseo yeolligo itseumnida.) – It’s being held at Namsan Park.

You:
입장료가 얼마인가요? (Ipjangnyoga eolma-ingayo?) – How much is the admission fee?

Staff:
무료입니다. (Muryo-imnida.) – It’s free.


Scenario 2: Renting and Trying on Hanbok


You:
이 한복을 입어 봐도 될까요? (I hanbogeul ibeo bwado doelkkayo?) – Can I try on this hanbok?

Staff:
네, 탈의실에서 입으시면 됩니다. (Ne, taluisileseo ibeusimyeon doemnida.) – Yes, you can try it on in the fitting room.


Scenario 3: Watching a Performance


You:
공연은 몇 시에 시작하나요? (Gongyeoneun myeot sie sijakhanayo?) – What time does the performance start?

Staff:
오후 7시에 시작합니다. (Ohu ilgop sie sijakhamnida.) – It starts at 7 PM.

You:
감사합니다. 좌석이 어디에 있나요? (Gamsahamnida. Jwaseogi eodie innayo?) – Thank you. Where is my seat?

Staff:
이 티켓에 적힌 번호를 따라가시면 됩니다. (I tiket-e jeokhin beonhoreul ttaragasimyeon doemnida.) – Follow the number written on this ticket.
