  • 공항 (gonghang) – Airport
  • 여권 (yeogwon) – Passport
  • 비자 (bija) – Visa
  • 세관 (segwan) – Customs
  • 수하물 (suhamul) – Luggage
  • 체크인 (chekeu-in) – Check-in

[2: Useful Phrases]

At Immigration:

  • '목적지가 어디인가요?' (Mokjeokjiga eodi-ingayo?) – What is your destination?
  • '관광입니다.' (Gwangwang-imnida.) – I’m here for tourism.
  • '얼마 동안 머무르실 건가요?' (Eolma dongan meomureusil geongayo?) – How long will you stay?

At Customs:

  • '신고할 물건이 있나요?' (Singohal mulgeoni innayo?) – Do you have anything to declare?
  • '없습니다.' (Eopseumnida.) – No, I don’t.



[3: Practice Dialogue]

Immigration Officer:
목적지가 어디인가요? (Mokjeokjiga eodi-ingayo?) – What is your destination?

Traveler:
서울입니다. 관광입니다. (Seoul-imnida. Gwangwang-imnida.) – Seoul. I’m here for tourism.

Immigration Officer:
얼마 동안 머무르실 건가요? (Eolma dongan meomureusil geongayo?) – How long will you stay?

Traveler:
일주일 동안 머무를 예정입니다. (Iljuil dongan meomureul yejeongimnida.) – I’ll stay for a week.
